Sunday, Rada and Don took me on a Road Trip up the Coast - now I've seen all of the Sunshine Coast! We went up to the popular Rainbow Beach on which you need a good 4W drive to make a "beach trip" out of the "road trip" - it was great and felt a bit weird to see the 80 km/h signs along the beach like on a motorway. We went all the way down the beach to Noosa - another very popular spot for traveller and backpacker. Unfortunatly we were hit by a proper thunderstorm and heavy rain so that was a shame.... but the day was never the less exciting!
I saw a Kangaroo!
Got so excited that Rada and Don could't stop laughing but it was just standing there next to the road looking at us - and then there was a second one jumping out of the bush! Just like that!
Today the bad weather continues...hopefully it will be better on the Whitsunday Coast where I am going tomorrow...
